Port Boundary Adjustment (Imperial Beach Oceanfront) Public hearing and action on request by the Port District to amend its adopted port boundary map to modify the legal geographical boundary to include approximately 403 acres of water and 7 acres of land or interest in lands acquired by the San Diego Unified Port District in the City of Imperial Beach. b. San Diego Port Plan Amendment No. 24 (Imperial Beach Oceanfront). Public hearing and action on request by the Port District to amend its certified Port Master Plan to add new planning district to the Port Master Plan, consisting of 403 acres of water, (402 acres designated open ocean & 1 acre designated Sportfishing Berthing) and 7 acres of land, designated Commercial Recreation (1.2 acres), Public Recreation (2.7 acres) and Public Facilities (3.1 acres), with major projects including renovation and expansion of Imperial Beach Pier Plaza with removal of 75 space parking lot and construction of restrooms, commercial space, landscaping, outdoor performance area, 4,000-7,000 sq.ft. restaurant on expanded area of Imperial Beach Pier, public improvements to Dunes Parks, street ends enhancements and construction of parking structure.
