Public Education Program Impact

About the Public Education | Public Education Media Page | Recursos En Español

The California Coastal Commission's Public Education Program works to increase public knowledge of coastal and marine resources and to engage the public in coastal protection and restoration activities. The Program has been supported by the WHALE TAIL® License Plate since 1999. California vehicle owners can join more than 232,000 of their friends and neighbors in supporting these programs by purchasing a plate. California tax payers can also support the Public Education Program by donating to the Protect Our Coast & Ocean Fund on the State Tax Form.
