Commission denial of amendment to City of Manhattan Beach Local Coastal Program (LCP) to revise table of permitted temporary uses in OS District to replace use listed as "sporting events for which no admission is charged" with a new use, "temporary events on the beach." b. Application No. 5-97-62 (AVP, Hermosa Beach) AVP granted permit with conditions for temporary bleachers (total seating capacity of 5,000) courtside chairs, staging, tents/canopies, and eight volleyball courts (30'x60') for AVP Beach Volleyball Tournament on July 25-27, 1997, with set-up July 21-24, and tear-down July 28-29, at Hermosa Beach, North Side of Pier, Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles County.
