Recently, Environmental Volunteers launched a Smart Phone application providing visitors with a self-guided tour of the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve. It uses narration, photographs, and printed text to let users learn about the importance of bay marshes, the preserve's flora and fauna, and the history of the Preserve and the San Francisco Bay. The app is called "EV Bay Tour" and iPhone or iPad users can download it for free here. A version for Android devices will be released in the future.
