Education Programs:

  • The Natural and Cultural History of the Lake Berryessa region: daylong half-day boat tours (once a month)
  • Interpretive walks on Quail Ridge Reserve
  • Talks to local groups (about Reserve and general topics relating to conservation, restoration, etc.) are available by arrangement
  • Special interpretive walks for groups or classes may be arranged throughout the year
  • A teacher’s guide (curriculum) has been developed to accompany our video #1, listed below

Volunteer Opportunities

  Program:
Quail Ridge Wilderness Conservancy
  Description:
Volunteers may help with eradication of non-native invasive plants at Quail Ridge Reserve. They may also help with inventory of flora and fauna species. They may help with tabling at environmental events and with handing out brochures and other informational materials. Seriously interested volunteers may learn to lead interpretive walls on the Reserve.

Maturity, sense of commitment to the environment, a sincere love of the outdoors and willingness to work when the weather is less than beautiful
