On the topic of marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation. Can tailor to specific audiences.

Education Programs:
CIMWI's Ocean Awareness Program is an educational program designed to reach children in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties in the 7th and 8th grades. The program focuses on situations impacting our oceans and coastlines. The sessions are topic-based and most include a field trip.

Target Audiences:
7th-9th grades, Adults (Can tailor presentations to a variety of age groups)

CIMWI Volunteer
  Description:
Volunteer opportunites exist in the following areas:
Rescue, rehabilitation, volunteer coordination, administration, fundraising, groundskeeping/landscaping, maintenance/construction
  When Needed:
Throughout the year. Spring and summer are the busiest times of year for rescue and rehab.
  Qualifications:
18 years old, animal clinic experience a plus, qualifications vary based on area
  Commitment Required:
Flexible depending on area
  Application/Training:
Volunteer application and waiver required. Training tailored to area and level of experience.
