Education Programs:
- Project WILD/Aquatic WILD: an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program that emphasizes wildlife. Two activity guides contain supplementary curriculum for grades K-12.
- Salmonids in the Classroom Program- hands-on, interdisciplinary project for grades K-12. Classroom teachers and students raise trout.
- Hunter Education: provides training for all first time California resident hunters.
- Fishing in the City: works to improve fishing in urban areas, teaches people to fish and helps people understand how their actions affect the quality of water in local streams, lakes and bays.
- The Nature Bowl is a fun, cooperative learning team competition for 3rd through 6th grade students for Sacramento, Yolo, Butte, Colsa, Sutter, Placer, El Dorado and Yuba counties.
