Water is essential to life. Comprehensive information about water is critical to
empower informed decision making. The mission of the Water Resources Collections
and Archives (WRCA) is to collect, organize and make accessible information about
water in all its manifestations. The WRCA supports the scholarly and research needs
of faculty, staff, students, and programs of the University of California and
California State University systems. The WRCA also serves as a gateway to water
information in support of water management decision-makers in both public and private
