The Tomales Bay Advisory Committee takes water quality to be its highest priority. To that end, it formed the Tomales Bay Watershed Council in January 2000. The Council meets monthly and is open to public participation. A number of subcommittees have been formed with a primary focus on four goals: Water Quality, Habitat, Implementation Strategies, and Education. A draft Local Watershed Stewardship Plan will be produced in the spring of 2002.

*Currently the Tomales Bay Watershed Council is serving the purposes of the Advisory Council and the Advisory Committee has been inactive as a result.
