Puppet Plays in English and Spanish for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. These include water conservation and flood safety tips.
Class presentations for grades 1 through college. These include hands-on experiments, conservation tips, water awareness and urban runoff activities, flood protection information and careers in the water industry.
Tours for grades 3 through college of Alamitos
Groundwater Recharge Facility, Coyote Creek Outdoor Classroom on Coyote
Creek, and Morley Park at McClincey Recharge Facility.
Curricula:
Water Colors for Preschool through grade one, available in English and Spanish. Introduces the basic properties of water and stresses its importance to all living things.
Water Junction for grade two and three, available in English and Spanish. Offers an integrated water curriculum and includes student workbooks, science journals, and a teacher’s guide.
Rain to Drain for grades 4 through 6. Focuses on the water supply system in the Santa Clara Valley and covers such issues as conservation and water quality.
Project Water Science for grades 7 through 12. Ten laboratory exercises suitable for either physical or earth science classes. The labs explore the chemical nature of water and its role in the ecosystem.

We offer Project WET training, a six-hour workshop of innovative, water-related activities in a hands-on, easy to use format. The goal of the program is to facilitate and promote awareness, appreciation, knowledge and stewardship of water resources through the development and dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aids.
