Mission:
San Mateo Outdoor Education is a 4/5 day residential environmental education program, which serves 5th and 6th grade students in San Mateo County. Students visit natural communities and learn about ecological relationships and their role in protecting natural resources.

We provide a nine month naturalist internship program for 11 individuals.

Internship Opportunities

  Description:
Lead nature walks with groups of 15 5th and 6th graders, teaching basic ecology and natural history. Lead evening activities including Night hike, beach prep, folk dance, and campfire.
