Guided River Walks:
Open your eyes to the amazing world of nature and get excited about the outdoors. Join us for one of our many educational walks designed to increase your understanding of the natural world. Led by our knowledgeable Parkway Volunteer Guides, these thematic walks will explore a variety of topics as we journey along stretches of the Parkway and related lands. These tours allow guests to venture into areas of the Parkway that are rarely explored, unknown, or less-accessible to the public.
Designed with both the beginner and expert in mind, our walks cater to all skill levels. All ages are welcome and children under the age of 10 are free, but all must be prepared to walk, stand and sit for several hours. Hot beverages are provided in the early mornings as well as binoculars. Please come prepared with water, sunscreen, proper clothing for the walk and snacks or lunch as appropriate for the length of the walk.
