Volunteer Opportunities

  Program:
Volunteer Network
  Description:
All volunteer work is coordinated through dive centers around the world. Volunteers can sign up through the Volunteer Network on our website or directly with dive centers to help with underwater cleanups, activities for Dive-In-to-Earth Day and related activities and even help with mooring buoy installation projects.
  When Needed:
All year round, though major events occur in September in conjunction with International Cleanup Day
  Qualifications:
Not all volunteers are divers or snorkelers. Aquatic enthusiasts of all ages can help with hands-on activities like cleanups.
  Commitment Required:
Depends on the activity. Approximately one day for an event or activity.
  Application/Training:
Depends on the activity. Underwater cleanups require that a volunteer already be a trained diver. Mooring Buoy installations require greater skill and diving experience. Determination will be made at the local dive center regarding qualifications for activities.
