Mission:
The Ocean Institute is a laboratory for the creation, testing, and dissemination of new ideas, strategies, and technologies for teaching and learning. The Institute is a leader, serving as a resource to museums, school districts, teachers, and others who seek to enhance and strengthen an educational program. The curriculum crosses all traditional disciplines, but draws heavily from history and the sciences using content derived from the ocean.

Internship Opportunities

  Description:
Varies. May include program development, Dana Point Marine Life Refuge assistance, education, and miscellaneous administrative tasks.

Undergraduates with science or technology majors, good writing/communication skills, flexibility, availability throughout the weekdays, physical fitness, some marine science background
