Volunteer Opportunities

  Program:
Volunteer Pilot
  Description:
Fly environmental decision-makers over areas of environmental concern.
  When Needed:
Year-round, mostly in the summer in the U.S.
  Qualifications:
At least 1,000 hours Pilot in command, own or have the ability to rent suitable aircraft, and maintain $1,000,000 liability insurance
  Application/Training:
Must execute and return a Volunteer Pilot Agreement, be checked out by a LightHawk Check Pilot, and fill out all necessary paperwork
