Education Programs:
A 45 minute presentation on the sources, evils and responses to urban runoff, including several videos (urban runoff, oil pollution, fishing etc.). We discuss storm drains vs. sewers, litterbugs, impacts of urban runoff and solutions.

Volunteer Opportunities

  Program:
Trash Removal from Lake Merritt
  Description:
Using nets, we remove 1,000-6,000 pounds of trash per month.
  When Needed:
All year, but mainly during the rainy season
  Qualifications:
Must be able to handle a net
  Commitment Required:
Tuesdays at 10:30a.m., Thursdays at 2p.m., Saturday at 10a.m. for approximately 2.5 hours
