Mission:
ENH provides residential outdoor education for public and private schools. Our programs are dedicated to enriching students through active outdoor learning. Our focus is to expand each student’s environmental awareness by exploring and investigating natural habitats. In this way, our outdoor school promotes an atmosphere of caring, respect, support and understanding.

Volunteer Opportunities

  Program:
High School Counselors
  Description:
Annually over 200 high school students and college students volunteer to be week long chaperones at our sites. Volunteering for this position covers up to 100 hours of community service.
  When Needed:
Throughout the school year.
  Qualifications:
10th grade minimum
  Commitment Required:
4 to 5 days at a time
  Application/Training:
We train all counselors.

Internship Opportunities

  Program:
Naturalist Intern
  Description:
Training in all aspects of ENH, and interns often substitute in for naturalists about 10 weeks a year.
  When Needed:
Throughout the school year, minimum commitment of 4 months.
