Volunteer Opportunities

  Program:
Commission Public Member
  Description:
One available position. Serve as researcher, advocate, and liaison to the public, representing the Commission and the sea urchin industry in general.
  When Needed:
Throughout the year
  Qualifications:
Must not hold direct economic interest in the sea urchin industry (i.e., licensed commercial urchin diver or processor).
  Commitment Required:
Two year position, five-ten hours per week or month. Varies.
  Application/Training:
Candidates are screened by Executive Committee, which sends its recommendations to the Department of Food & Agriculture, whose Director makes the appointment.
