Education Programs:
Aquarium of the Bay offers 6 different classes to participating school groups, each of which also includes a guided tour. Topics of classes are: sharks, fish, marine mammals, food web, plankton, and rocky inter-tidal invertebrates. Aquarium of the Bay also offers birthday parties, sleepovers, teacher workshops and summer camp programs.

In-Service Training:
Aquarium of the Bay offers teacher workshops for teachers planning a field trip to the Aquarium with their class. Teacher workshops give the teachers an idea of what their field trip will be like and provides them with some pre- and post-trip curriculum ideas for their classroom.

Fees:
During the school year (September 1 – May 31), groups receiving a reservation for a classroom program enter the Aquarium free of charge. All other groups and times are subject to various fees.

PIER 39 has a parking garage available for a parking fee.
