Provide Information about a CCA

This table shows which of the three CCA identification criteria applies to each specific Critical Coastal Area; more than one criteria may apply to a specific CCA. The criteria used to identify a coastal watershed as a CCA are:

1) Has a 1998 303(d)-listed impaired coastal waterbody that flows into a Marine Managed Areas (MMA); or in San Francisco Bay, flows into a Wildlife Refuge or Waterfront Park/Beach.

2) Flows into a marine State Water Quality Protection Area (SWQPA, also known as an Area of Special Biological Significance, ASBS).

3) Was on the original 1995 CCA list, comprised of watersheds that flow into a 1994 303(d)-listed impaired bay or estuary.
