a. Supplemental Authorization for Shoreline Inventory Project. Commission action to authorize extension from February 28, 1997 until October 31, 1998 inventory of coastal ecological resources at Northern Channel Islands & along mainland of Ventura & Los Angeles Counties by means of (a) transferring to Southern California Educational Initiative (SCEI) and approving expenditure of ~ $5,800 in interest earned on original $600,000 payment; (b) transferring to SCEI and approving expenditure of all unspent administrative funds currently in possession of Santa Barbara County; and (c) approving expenditure of interest earned on payment previously transferred to SCEI ~ $57,000.
